After 10 real matches it's girls 7, guys 1, and 2 draws. I'm not trying to be biased or anything lol, please post any links to guys winning if you want and I can include them.
I had a feeling girls won more but I didn't think it was this often. I don't know why. I guess the girls who wrestle are pretty strong and good at it.
i like your blog. the girls who wrestle are strong and good while the guys like to sit at home playing their games. they think they can outmuscle us girls but we out think them and out wrestle them. it used to be a boys sports but it's almosta girls sport now.
ReplyDeletesammit has a valid point - boys spend too much time on video games and too little time doing sports. Girls who do wrestling and other sports spend more time in practice and cross training which enables them to excel in wrestling.
ReplyDeleteSome people are bothered when girls beat boys. A score of 7-1-2 would be very unsettling to many. But not to me. As a former coach of baseball and softball (and being knowledgeable in many sports) I know fully well that most of these victories are genuinely legit. The girls aggressively seek a point of attack on their male victims, show surprising upper body strength which, in general, is highly under rated by many in sports, and have so much more energy that at the end of the match that the boys are huffing and puffing while the girls look perfectly relaxed and ready to fight yet again. Thus, these victories are earned, not handed to them.
Some people like to blame Title IX for this but that is utter nonsense. The real reason is likely that gym classes are now no longer mandatory. Swimming, which is so beneficial for stamina and flexibility, has been removed from what few gym classes remain.
So what's the solution? Bring back mandatory gym class? Should we resurrect the military draft? Many people think that's a good idea so long as it is restricted to boys. I read a couple of surveys which determined that a small majority of people would approve of a draft but only if it is exclusively male. I don't want a draft myself but if one is to be created I'd be very hesitant to include females for fear that girls would deliberately get pregnant in order to avoid mandatory service.
Any thoughts on any of this??
At the top the guys are the best. The guys dominate the tournaments at the top. Though the gap is closing.

DeleteAgainst guys? Honestly... it was hardly a competition. I actually didn't like wrestling guys that much because I wanted a challenge. My coach would always tell me to start trying because it was obvious I wasn't even taking those matches that seriously.. Despite this, I still creamed the boys.. LOL
